What Spark Plug thread repair kit do I select for my vehicle?
First you need to determine the spark plug size and style (washer seat or taper seat) also the spark plug thread length. Once you know the size you can check insert length here. https://time-serts.com/spark-plug-reach-measurement/
You should be able to look up your spark plug at sparkplugs.com click on specs.

Many Import vehicles e.g. Honda, Acura, Kia, Toyota, Bmw ect. use a 3/4 or 19mm reach washer seat spark plug. We can offer the p/n 4412E-111 for these applications. Check size and pitch to be sure.

Many Domestic vehicles e.g General motors spark plugs use Taper seat spark plugs we offer kit p/n 4412E-187

Ford spark plug blow out with the common 17.5mm or .689 inch Reach taper seat spark plugs. For a stripped hole that is NOT larger than .660 inches or 16.8mm we normally offer Ford kit p/n 5553 for first and second time repairs.  If the spark plug hole is Larger than .660 inches after a failed repair of some kind use (Triple Oversized) kit p/n 5600 the hole must be larger than .660 inches but should Not be larger than the Max size of .730 inches or 18.5mm. Lastly some ford owners with smaller engines than 5.4 liter have used a thin wall 17.5mm or .689 inch reach fully threads kit but the hole should “Never” have been Previously Repaired. P/n 4412E-681

What Head Bolt kit do I need?

First you need the size and pitch of the bolt. You might take your bolt to a fastener house to measure it or ask the dealer. Many Toyota use M11x1.5. Many Chrysler use M12x1.5. Many Subaru use M11x1.25. Many GM NorthStar vehicles before the year 2004 use M11x1.5 after the year 2004 the thread size became M11x2.0 as well as the early Gen3 5.7L block. The new LS9 engine started in 2014 use the new M12x1.75 thread.
For the M11x1.5 and M11x2.0 we do also offer universal head bolt kits which are not set for any specific vehicle you must simply set the tooling depth yourself.

What kit do I need for my Oil Drain plug?
You will have to know the thread size and pitch of the drain plug you might try to bring your drain plug to a parts house to measure it or ask the dealer. We also have a printable bolt chart that you could align the drain plug to get the thread pitch. http://www.timesert.com/html/faq.html#23

When should stainless steel inserts be used?
Stainless steel is recommended for the medical or food industry, and water applications or where there may be exposure to moisture as in disk brakes.

What length insert should be installed in blind holes?
TIME-SERTs can be installed in blind holes.
A basic dimension we give is the insert should be 1/4″ .250 inches or 6mm shorter than the depth of your blind hole.
Another thing to keep in mind when repairing a blind hole application is that you “do not” want to bottom out the driver tool on installation. There is a simple method to safeguard against bottoming the tool out, by placing a visual mark on the install driver tool BEFORE installing the insert, place the install driver tool into the hole and mark the tool at the point it can’t enter any further. Use a ink marker or even use a small strip of tape around the driver. This way we know exactly how deep the hole is with this simple visual aid. see Driver tool bottom of TIMESERT-INSTRUCTIONS
