The Honda "TIN" pan repair reduces the hole from M14x1.5 to M12x1.5. The pan must be made of tin. (a magnet would stick to it) There cannot be any oversize plugs in the pan prior to this Time-Sert repair. The pan should just be what is called a "leaker".
